In addition to cheers and jeers, here are some common things you might hear around the course.
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL
HOW TO LOB
Groups of up to 4 players navigate Lob’s 9 unique tracks, trying to score more points than their opponent.
Step 1
Survey
Like a long putt in golf, players must assess the location of the stake and determine their read. It’s an understatement to say there’s a lot at stake with this first step.
Step 2
Strategize
Someone else’s ball is sitting pretty…for now. Knocking other balls is encouraged. Players should do whatever they can to be near the stake after all balls have been lobbed.
Step 3
Lob
Each player has two balls of the same color and alternates lobbing them down the track. We typically recommend tossing palm up on most tracks or palm down on shorter ones.
Step 4
Score
Once all balls have been played, points are awarded based on proximity to the stake. Players grab their balls (er, you know what we mean), power up with their adult beverage and make their way to the next track.
